Does your child have a 'bogan' baby name?

I have been known to be called a Bogan on numerous occasions in my life, the last time just yesterday at school pick up by another Mum who I also consider lovingly to be a Bogan (you know who you are, Sam!!).

So when this Little Book of Bogan Names made its way across my desk I was intrigued and couldn't wait to dig in and find the Shazza's, Dazza's and Dwaynes!

The book gives a more thorough education in bogan names than my simple list from my high school years, and in its quirky, tongue in cheek way includes these classics through to ‘misspelt’ Bogan names like Rybekkah! There are so many great Bogan names to choose from, I'm seriously considering a few extra kids so I can use them.. (kidding!)

Other bogan names in the book include when ‘good’ names go bogan, made-up names, backwards names, celebrity baby names, urban-legend names and many more.

If you come from a long-standing bogan background you might want to get your hands on this 'little ripper of a book' and use it as inspiration for your next baby - there’s certainly no shame in that.

The names are original, quirky, sometimes cute and sometimes crazy – but they certainly all stand out from the crowd. Bogan and proud!

Here's a list of some of the made up and backwards spelt Bogan names that made it into the book...
