Shining a light on autism

April is Global Autism Awareness Month and, earlier this month (on the 2nd April) iconic buildings from around the world, starting with the Sydney Opera House turned blue, which is all about shining a light on autism.

Little Rockers Radio is also shining a light on autism and chatting to Associate Professor Julie Green from Raising Children Network (www.raisingchildren.net.au) about autism (Autism Spectrum Disorder).

We asked Julie what autism is, how it affects children's behaviours, how children can feel in everyday settings like shopping centres, learning social skills, anxiety and bullying.
